About Us

Our name draws inspiration from the Silk Road and ancient spice routes — paths that carried culture and commerce across landscapes and generations. Textiles, pigments, techniques, symbols, and materials that travelled with people, evolving as they changed hands along the way.

The objects we collect are inseparable from the stories of how they came to be. Across weaving, woodcraft, pottery, and other traditions of making, knowledge of materials, techniques, and place was passed from one generation to the next, transforming what the landscape provided into objects for everyday life.

A single rug represents months of work.
